Sonoma County Vintners promotes Michael Haney to interim executive director. He has been director of membership and government affairs, and is the fourth person in four years to serve as executive director. He succeeds Jean Arnold Sessions. Russell Joy, of Patz & Hall Winery takes the helm as president of the board of directors. The trade group’s new executive committee includes Mark Malpiede (Williams Selyem Winery), Mike Martini (Taft Street Winery), Richard Idell (Idell Family Vineyards) and Caroline Shaw (Jackson Family Wines.)
Dry Creek Vineyard hires Thomas Bailey as National Accounts Director; Rocio Gonzalez, Regional Sales Director – South, Matt McCormack, Regional Sales Director – Midwest, and Kurt Spann, Regional Sales Director – Northeast. Joe Czesnakowicz has been promoted to Regional Sales Manager – West. Mike Eaker of Winery Associates will remain on board in the Mid-Atlantic.
