Trader Joe’s Launches Inexpensive Wine in Cans

The explosion of canned wines has led Trader Joe’s to reprise its low-cost “Two Buck Chuck” wine, introducing Simpler Wines Italian Sparkling Wine.

The new brand, available in white and rose, comes about 15 years after the company introduced its famous Charles Shaw wine, a well-known economical brand with a $1.99 price tag that eventually gave it the nickname, “Two Buck Chuck.” (The price later was increased.)  Retail: $3.99 for four cans.
