Richard Spencer, the man behind the Charlottesville protest, is planning to give a speech in Gainesville, Fla., the home of the University of Florida . . . and of Alligator Brewing Co.
For every two tickets someone brings in, Alligator will dispense a free Alligator draft beer. “Those tickets and reserved spots (to hear Spencer) will be disposed of, leaving two more empty seats.” Alligator “can’t stop him from bringing his hate to Gainesville, but we can empty the room so his disgusting message goes unheard.”
Spencer heard of the plan, so he changed his plan. Now people have to stand in line to get the tickets. Alligator says that’s fine, it’ll stop give a free beer for every two tickets.
