Sokol Blosser Winery expanded its Evolution line with the launch of a fourth nationally available offering, Evolution Pinot Noir.
Evolution 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (SRP: $20) is the first nationally-distributed, single-varietal wine under the Evolution label. This wine is consistent with the rest of the Evolution wines and is food-friendly, high-quality and affordable, the company says.
The first bottling released has 6,300 cases and exhibits aromas of bright red fruit with a soft tannic structure and a medium finish. Its flavors are enhanced with a variety of menus, from grilled salmon with dill at a friendly summer gathering to a wood-fired pizza for an easy weeknight dinner.
